1 (15¼ oz.) box yellow cake mix

12 oz. diet cola (room temperature)

1 (1 oz.) sachet sugar-free instant vanilla pudding mix

2 c. skimmed milk

8 oz. whipped topping

Instructions:

1. Preheat the main oven to the temperature indicated on the cake mix box.

2. Spritz a 13x9 inch baking tin with nonstick cooking spray.

3. Beat together the cake mix and diet cola until smooth. Add the batter into the baking tin and bake in the oven according to the manufacturer's instructions.

4. Allow the cake to cool before cutting into 1 inch cubes.

5. Whisk together the pudding mix and milk until combined. Keep chilled until ready to assemble.

6. Arrange one-third of cooled cake cubes in the base of a trifle dish in an even layer, followed by a third of the pudding and a third of whipped topping. Repeat the layers two more times until the ingredients are used up.

7. Chill for 1-2 hours before serving.
